• We have bought, and are in the process of installing Crime Watch signs across the Shore Acres Neighborhood.  We are the first neighborhood association in St. Petersburg to work with the SPPD to independently purchase and have the city install them.  GREAT JOB EVERYBODY !
• By lowering the annual dues, we have increased the revenue of the association.  GREAT IDEA CHRIS !
• Although we have one of the lowest crime reports in St. Petersburg, there are still a "few bad apples" spoiling our sense of security for everyone; therefore we are going to continue to fight back on crime to reduce home and car break-ins, theft, etc, by continue to work with the SPPD on things we can do. 
  
• There is power in numbers.  This has been evident by the increased participation in our dues.  Come to the quarterly meetings to see whats going on.  Eden Isle is much smaller than us and they have over a 80% turnout for each association meeting.  Lets have so many people at the meeting that we will have to take the meeting into the parking lot of the Shore Acres Recreation Center.  We have an amplifier/podium we can use if necessary !
• The Smacks Bayou Marina is continuing to be a highly contested issue ; come and give your input. 
  
• We need more input on how to spend our limited dollars collected from our dues.  If you have a good idea; come and share it at a meeting !
